The Valutronic Tilt Microphone
System
consists of...
1: MIK 7 – The microphones
themselves. |
|---|---|
2: MH-7 Microphone holder with built-in microphone connector at the bottom and colour coded wires |
3: SMK-1 Interface unit, to connect the audio mixer to up to 130 MIK 7´s using a 12 V / 400 mA DC supply. |
4: ND-12 A 12V / 400mA stabilized DC power supply. If your country has 230VAC line voltage, and a so called ”euro plug” fits the socket, ND 12 will fit. If not, buy the DC adapter locally. |
5: IKS-2 Installation cable. Dual core,
separately screened. Red + white wires. |
*) We have produced more than 5000 MIK 7´s and so far we know of none that has had to be replaced due to aging or wear so far. Only a few single microphones damaged by thunderstorms have been replaced. (August 2008).
If you use chairs that are not fixed to the floor, we recommend flexible connections between each row of chairs and the floor (or wall, if the row of chairs is close to the wall). Each connection consists of two MU-1S and one MMS-1 spiral modular cable.
That´s all. A complete system for a 100-seat Kingdom hall (50-60 microphones) can be installed in about 6-8 hours by 4 - 5 brothers or sisters. A basic knowledge in electric wiring is expected, and at least one of them should be able to solder cables. You find more information on the ”How to install”-page.
It is also possible to design a system that needs no soldering when assembling. It is quicker to assemble, but more expensive. If you want to know more about this, send us an email. (email@valutronic.se)
